Wanna browse web faster and smarter?

I have BSNL Dataone Broadband service. HOME 500 plan. My average bandwidth usage per month is ~ 60GB.

An internet browser is a client side software, application to be more precise that helps you browse www or the internet. As implied, your browser is the greatest source of information at your home. It also works on your cellphone.

It is generally called an Internet Client.

If you are a windows user, generally you are using IExplorer.

Download Mozilla Firefox from here.

Do not be overwhelmed by the name. Its another browser from another vendor other than microsoft.

And the best part is it is absolutely free. In about a few days I believe you will have to get IE8, and again get tensed about how to activate it or whatever.

The advantage you got is lot more powerful browser than $WinIE. I believe that if you are going to browse a lot, and you want to browse like a pro then you are gonna love firefox3.

And if you are an internet newbie, you won’t understand the difference. So, don’t get upset. You will understand in time. Just keep roaming this blog a little.

Now that you have downloaded and installed firefox make sure that you checked firefox as your default browser.

A default browser is what opens up every time you click any web url or link on your computer.

OK. Enough side talk. Now is the important part.

Write in the address bar: about:config

Hit Enter.

Press I’ll be careful. I promise.

Relax!! Just do carefully what I’m saying.

Write in the Filter box: network.http.pipelining

Double click the network.http.pipelining and it should go bold and its value should be true.

Double click the network.http.pipelining.maxrequests and it should ask for a value.

Enter 30.

Now find network.http.proxy.pipelining and set its value to true.

Finished. Start browsing faster. 🙂
